At the conclusion of the grand finale of Miss Ireland 2017 (Miss World Ireland 2017) held last night at Dublin's Crowne Plaza Hotel, Northwood, Miss Donegal - Lauren Mc Donagh was crowned Miss World Ireland 2017. She succeeds and was crowned by her beautiful predecessor Miss World Ireland 2016 - Niamh Kennedy.
Lauren is just 18 years of age and will now represent Ireland in Miss World 2017 contest to be held later this year in China. She is a student at Crana College and is also a part-time beautician.
Her court included Tara O'Leary (Miss Cork), the first runner-up, and Vanessa Boland (Miss Dublin North), the second runner-up.
Thirty finalists competed at the grand finale to clinch the coveted title of Miss Ireland 2017.
