Miss Israel 2004 Gal Gadot turned the heat on at the 90th edition of Academy Awards ceremony when she debuting the first pieces from the 2018 Tiffany Blue Book Collection, including an exquisite necklace with a 27-carat aquamarine drop and over 1000 diamonds.

The statement piece quickly became the talk of the town for its exquisiteness. The necklace took nearly a year to create which is cut ethically sourced gemstones, reflecting the exacting standards and craftsmanship of the artisans and the piece perfectly completed the 32-year-old Israeli beauty’s look.

The Wonder Woman actress opted for a Givenchy gown, which was straight off the brand's Spring 2018 runway. The dress featured sequins from top to bottom along with dramatic layers of silver and gunmetal fringe. As Gal walked the red carpet, the incredibly sparkly dress made her look like a modern-day 1920s flapper.

“Blue Ice” was crafted by a team that included three master jewellers, three setters, four polishers, and took months of quality control to ensure its perfection. By choosing something different from the traditional diamond and emeralds, Gal and stylist Elizabeth Stewart created a highly memorable contrast with the steel tones of her gown playing against the stones’ aquamarine hues.

Before the big night, the down-to-earth star naturally couldn’t resist giving the jewels a go in jeans and a T-shirt. When she tested out the necklace at her fitting, Gal remarked on what it meant to head to her very first Oscars in such iconic jewellery. “As a long-time fan of the brand, it means so much to get to wear this special custom piece,” said Miss Israel 2004.

Though the actress unfortunately wasn't nominated for her role in Wonder Woman, she was certainly amongst the red carpet winners.
