At the conclusion of the grand finale of Miss Marianas 2019 held on 15th June 2019 at the Hibiscus Hall of Fiesta Resort & Spa in Saipan, Shannon Tudela Sasamoto was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Marianas in Miss International 2019. She bested five other contestants to win the national title.

The gorgeous beauty competed with excellence and grace at the national competition. Performing well in all the rounds, she showed that she could definitely be a strong competition for the other ladies at the international platform as well.

A student of Northern Marianas College, Shannon wants elementary school students to know more about local culture and heritage and will take it up as a advocacy during her reign. She quoted, “I want to reach out to them and other members of the community. I also realize that helping others can give you a better understanding of the world.”

Shannon succeeds and was crowned by Miss Marianas 2018 Celine Cabrera who represented Northern Marianas in Miss International 2018. Even though she performed quite well, she failed to place in the Top. Northern Marianas is yet to pioneer its win in the Miss International pageant.
