The finale of Miss Massachusetts USA 2023 was held on 29th January 2023 at Burlington Marriott Hotel, Burlington, Massachusetts where Annika Sharma was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Massachusetts at Miss USA 2023.

Annika is an author, a wealth management analyst and a beauty queen from Newtown, Massachusetts. She entered Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts to pursue a bachelor’s degree in finance in 2019. Not new to the pageantry, Annika finished in the Top 15 at Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2017. In 2018, she finished in the Top 15 at Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2019.

In 2020, she won Miss Massachusetts Teen USA 2020 at Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom in Burlington, Massachusetts. She also represented Massachusetts at Miss USA 2020 but was unplaced. At her second stint this year, Annika has managed to be crowned Miss Massachusetts USA 2023 as well. The newly crowned Miss Massachusetts USA 2023 Annika Sharma’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Tatyana Brown

2nd Runner-up – Britt High

3rd Runner-up – Luara dos Santos

4th Runner-up – Melissa Sapini

Top 16 also included Marisa Lockhart (Back Bay), Judy Lin (Cambridge), Hannah Kelsey (Fenway), Gabiela Taveras (Lawrence), Meera Gupta (North Shore), Nina Murray (Saugus), Sectra Okundaye (South Boston), Kaymesha Vital (South Shore), Aracely Rodriguez (Springfield), Ashley Cunningham (Western Massachusetts) and Samantha Vocatura (Weston).

Also at the end of the event finale, Yanelyn Quintana was crowned Miss Massachusetts Teen USA 2023 as she became the official representative of Massachusetts at Miss Teen USA 2023. Brooke Goodrich, Mia Mitchell, Isabelle Richards and Margaret Leighton were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.

Annika Sharma succeeds and was crowned by Miss Massachusetts USA 2022 Skarlet Ramirez who represented her state at Miss USA 2022 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 16. Congratulations to the winners!
