The Miss Mexico organization has recently announced the appointment of Ayram Ortiz as the new queen of the title Miss Mexico United Continents 2022 as she will now be representing the country at the Miss United Continents 2022 pageant. Aryam, most recently, competed at the Miss Mexico 2021 national pageant as Miss Sonora, where she placed among the Top 6 finalists and thus achieved the title of Miss Mexico United Continents.

Ayram has a degree in Primary Education with honors and is about to graduate with a Master's degree in Education and Didactics of Spanish. She has been a volunteer at Hogar San José and has worked on her social project ‘Sowing dreams’ supporting vulnerable children and families on the coast of the state of Sonora. Passionate about modeling, she is also working in an agency in CDMX for different brands.

Miss United Continentsis an international beauty contest held annually since 2013. Miss United Continent is organized by the Municipality of Guayaquil and Gama TV, one of the largest in the country, which also organizes the event Miss Ecuador under the management of María del Carmen de Aguayo.

The upcoming edition of the competition will begin on 21st July 2022 and the coronation ceremony will be held on 6th August 2022 in the town of Portoviejo, Ecuador. The reigning queen, Miss United Continents 2019 Anairis Cadavic will crown her successor at the end of the event.
