Miss Minnesota USA 2021 was held on 1st August 2021 at the Ames Center in Burnsville, where twenty-nine contestants competed for the state crown and, at the end of the event finale, Katarina Spasojevic was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Minnesota USA 2020 Taylor Fondie.

Katarina is 20-years-old and stands 172 cm tall. She graduated from Minnetonka High School and is enrolled at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She is excited about starting her preparations for Miss USA 2021 and is looking forward to meeting the delegates.

Miss Minnesota USA 2021 Katarina Spasojevic’s court includes:

Second runner-up: Muna Ali

Third runner-up: Nicole Peristein

Fourth runner-up: Kala Schmidt

Katarina is not a newbie to pageantry as she competed at Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2020 and finished as second runner-up behind first runner-up Madison Birk and titleholder Gwendolyn Buchanan. After being crowned as Miss Minnesota USA 2021, she had some advice for the aspiring beauty queens, "It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I honestly encourage every young woman to get out there and try it. Please do it because this is only my second year competing and miracles do happen."

Katarina is a focused, dedicated, and confident individual who will now start her preparations for the finale and is looking forward to representing the USA at Miss Universe 2021.

Also at the finale, Annika Wiese was crowned Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2021 and will now represent her state at Miss Teen USA 2021. At the end of the event finale, Alexis Zuehl, Ava Ernst, Kaiden Quirk, and Meadow Gillispie were adjudged as the first, second, third, and fourth runner ups respectively at the end of the event.
