Miss Multinational 2018 was just a stepping stone in Sophia Senoron’s life as the beauty queen will soon be takig the big leap into Films. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Joey Javier Reyes, the film—titled “Walwal”—star Elmo Magalona, Kiko Estrada, Jerome Ponce, Donny Pangilinan, Kisses Delavin, Devon Seron, Jane de Leon, and Miss Multinational 2017 Sophia Senoron.

Regal Films released its first teaser earlier this year, and the description read, “Walang tropa, walang saya. Walang pain, walang love. Walang pangarap, walang binatbat. WALWAL is life.”

The 43-second video showed the main characters enjoying themselves—going to bars, attending parties and drinking.

“Walwal” means to get drunk or wasted. Produced by Regal Films, the film will hit cinemas nationwide on June 27.

This is Magalona’s first film without current screen partner Janella Salvador. The actress, on the other hand, is promoting an upcoming film titled, “So Connected” which pairs her with Hashtag member Jameson Blake.

“Walwal” is Delavin and Pangilinan’s first movie together. Delavin headlined the 2017 movie “Loving in Tandem” together with erstwhile love team partner Marco Gallo and their fellow PBB Teens alumni Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber.

“Walwal” is Senoron’s first film after winning Miss Multinational 2017. The much-awaited film released its official trailer last Thursday, May 31.
