The splendid finale of Miss World Guatemala 2016 held on 25th September 2016 at Centro de Convenciones Westin Camino Real, concluded with the crowning of Melanie Espina Luna as the winner. Melanie succeeds Miss World Guatemala 2015 Maria Jose Larranaga Retolaza, and will now represent Guatemala at the Miss World 2016 pageant.

Melanie Luna battled out 12 other contestants to clinch the coveted crown of Miss World Guatemala 2016. Miss Guatemala is an annual national beauty pageant held in Guatemala, and is organised by Eventos, S.A. At the same pageant, Galia Ortiz was crowned Miss Ambassador Of World Tourism, Sheyla Roblero was crowned as Miss Queen & Beauty Universe, Fernanda Flores was crowned as Miss Costa Maya, Nancy Ortíz Valdez was titled Miss Intercontinental Guatemala, and Ana Lucía Villagrán was crowned Miss International Guatemala.
Melanie is all set to represent the country at the Miss World 2016 pageant. The beauty needs proper training and little bit of grooming on her walk to conquer the international pageant to be held in Washington DC. Do you think Melanie Espina has what it takes to be the next Miss World?
