Miss World 2016 pageant that concluded on 18th December 2016, came along with a controversial ending. While many have declared it as a cookery show, there are many who are not happy with the result. But, the fact still stands about right that it’s “Beauty with a Purpose” ideology is something that gives it an edge over the other pageants. And whatever may have been the final results, one thing is for sure that the delegates are faithfully dedicated towards their duties.

Not just the winner, in fact the contestants of Miss World 2016 are constantly active on their projects, and it is amazing to see the girls take up the responsibility so well. Talking about Miss Myanmar 2016 Bella Myat Thiri Lwin, the beauty queen went to Bangkok, Thailand on a 4 days trip to “Amazing Culture Livery Launching” hosted by AirAsia. The event aimed at sharing Thail culture and especially promoting Thai Silk. She went for a tour in the Silk village and learnt how Thai Silk is created.

On the other hand, Miss World Ukraine 2016 Oleksandra Kucherenko celebrated her Valentine’s Day in the most special way by visiting a Children's home. The Ukranian beauty spent the day with the children indulging in creative and fun play activities. She also interacted with the kids and distributed food and gifts to them. Recently, Miss World Guatemala 2016 Melanie Espina Luna also visited a children’s home in Jalapa, Guatemala, wherein she donated grains and food to the children, as part of her beauty with a purpose project.
