Miss Namibia organization is all set to host the 2022 edition of the national competition where thirty-two contestants are competing for the crown and the opportunity to represent Namibia at Miss Universe 2022. The winner will succeed and be crowned by Miss Namibia 2021 Chelsi Shikongo.

Miss Namibia 2021 Chelsi Shikongo represented Namibia at Miss Universe 2021, however, she remained unplaced. Namibia is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Universe. Also, Miss Namibia 2021 first runner up Annerie Maré was adjudged to represent her country at Miss World 2021 but remained unplaced.
