Miss Namibia organization, through the social media, announced the appointment of Diana Andimba as Miss Earth Namibia 2022 on Monday, 12th September 2022. She will now represent Namibia at Miss Earth 2022, this November.
Diana Andimba is 23 years of age. She is a philanthropist, aspiring chef, and architect in training from Windhoek. Diana was adjudged as the second runner-up during Miss Namibia 2022 pageant held on 12th August 2022 at the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino.
Also at the finale of Miss Namibia, three other national titles were given for the first time. Miss Namibia 2022 Cassia Sharpley will compete at 71st Miss Universe. The first runner-up Leone Van Jaarsveld will compete at 71st Miss World, and Miss Teen Namibia Zoe Karsten will compete at Miss Teen International 2022.
Namibia first joined Miss Earth in 2014 with Paulina Malulu, the first Namibian woman to compete in four major pageants. This year's appointed Miss Earth Namibia will be the country's third representative to the Philippine-based international competition.
