Anna Leitch crowned Miss Northern Ireland 2021

Miss Northern Ireland organization organized the finale of its 2021 edition at the Europa Hotel in Belfast on Monday, 6th September 2021 where Anna Leitch was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Northern Ireland at Miss World 2021. Anna succeeds and was crowned by Lauren Leckey Miss Northern Ireland 2019.

Anna Leitch bested 22 other beauties to compete for the national crown. The stunning beauty hails from Lisburn and is a primary school teacher studying for a Masters in Leadership at Queens University Belfast. Anna competed in a number of preliminary events including Miss Talent, Sports Day and Beauty with a Purpose where she excelled with her performance.

 

 

The newly crowned Miss Northern Ireland 2021 Anna Leitch's court included -

First runner-up - Ruth Armstrong representing Crumlin

Second runner up - Bernadette Hagans representing Antrim

 

 

In 2019, Lauren Eve Leckey Miss Northern Ireland 2019 represented Northern Ireland at Miss World 2019 where she failed to place in the Top 40. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss World. The 2020 edition of the national pageants as well as Miss World was cancelled due to coronavirus.

Anna will represent Northern Ireland at the highly anticipated 70th Miss World Final in Puerto Rico, where reigning Miss World Toni-Ann Singh will crown her successor on 16th December 2021 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, José Miguel Agrelot.
