Valeria Flórez selected as official candidate for Miss Peru 2022

As the search for new representatives for Miss Universe 2022 have begun in countries all over the world, Miss Peru organization has also initiated the selection process for the official candidates for the 2022 edition of the national pageant. During the course of these last few days, some candidates have been presenting themselves for the Miss Peru 2022 pageant.

Miss Peru organization’s national director, Jessica Newton took to her social media as she shared a post confirming model and host, Valeria Flores’ official candidature for the Miss Peru 2022 national pageant. In the recent posts by Newton, Valeria Florez was seen passing the rigorous casting process to be included as a candidate this year.

 

 

25 years-old Valeria began her career on TV in the program América Kids, where she stood out for her charisma and development. Currently, she works as an announcer on a well-known radio station and as host of the program ‘A day at the mall’ on Willax TV.

The diva has managed to venture into the artistic and communications world, where she has developed as an actress, singer, TV and radio host. In 2020 she released a song ‘Ya no’ with which she began her career as a solo artist and sought to raise awareness about the increase in violence against women in Peru.

“Thank you for the opportunity,” Valeria Flores wrote as she received dozens of messages from her followers who congratulated her on this new stage in her career. It is being interpreted that Flores competed with Alessia Rovegno, who also met Jessica Newton and is presumed to be one of the 2022 candidates.

Valeria is undeniably a bright young lady with a diverse educational background, making her one of the leading contenders for the national title. If she manages to put her complete potential to use, she will definitely be a strong choice to represent the country at the international platform. The current queen of the title is Miss Peru 2021 Yely Rivera Kroll, who represented Peru at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant where she unfortunately failed to qualify among the Top 16.
