Miss Portuguesa 2021, the 2021 edition of the national pageant, held the finale on 11th September 2021 at the Casino Estoril, where Ana Laura Ferreira was crowned as Miss Grand Portugal 2021 and won the opportunity to represent Portugal at the Miss Grand International 2021 pageant. Ana succeeds Miss Grand Portugal 2020 Sara Duque for the title.

Hailing from Leiria, Ana Ferreira is 19 years old and currently lives in Guarda. She is working as a professional model and intends to follow an Economics course as it is the field of study she likes and identifies with. She is determined, outgoing and resilient.

Ana is passionate about sports and has already practiced several modalities. She defends for a cleaner and more sustainable planet being a nature lover and is also a supporter of gender equality and human rights. She believes that everything that happens in life is not by chance, however with effort and dedication everything is achieved.

After winning the title, Ana took to her social media to share the news as she wrote, “I was crowned Miss Grand Portugal 2021, where I will represent Portugal at one of the biggest beauty contests in the world, Miss Grand International.” She also took the opportunity to extend her gratitude towards her team and the organization, “that allowed the beginning of a dream.”

Ana is dedicated, strong and confident as she is preparing herself for the international stint which is only a few months away. After the successful conclusion of the 2020 edition that happened earlier this year, Miss Grand International 2021 will be the 9th edition of the pageant, corresponding to the year 2021 and will be held on 4th December in the city of Phuket, Thailand. At the end of the event, Miss Grand International 2020 Abena Akuaba Appiah of the United States will crown her successor.
