The finale of Miss Russia 2015 is right at a week's distance. And as the grand slam pageant is nearing its “D” day, the excitement and buzz is shooting up with great speed. The candidates are busy attending their visits and attending events, as part of their Preliminary Competition. As we are frequently giving you an insight about the contestants and their lives, let’s take a look at the expected jury for the finals this year.
Rumors had it that this year, the pageant will be embellished with the presence of reigning queens, Miss World – Rolene Strauss and Miss Universe – Paulina Vega Dieppa, as the tradition of the pageant says so. However, moulding the tradition a tad, the jury for this year’s pageant will be the in house Miss World and Miss Universe of Russia. Yes, we are talking about Oksana Fedorova, who was crowned Miss Russia 2001 and Miss Universe 2002, and Ksenia Sukhinova, who was crowned Miss Russia 2007 and Miss World 2008. The two gorgeous ladies will be present at the judges’ seat and analyzing the contestants with them, will be Regina von Flemming, CEO of Axel Springer Russia publishing house, Igor Chapurin, a prominent fashion designer of Russia and Tatiana Kotova, Miss Russia 2006 who is also a renowned singer and actress.
This year, there are a total of 50 contestants competing for the coveted crown and the esteemed opportunity of representing one’s nation at the international pageants. Miss Russia 2015 grand finale is scheduled to be held on April 18' 2015. Yulia Alipova, the Miss Russia 2014, will crown her successor who will represent Russia at Miss Universe 2015 international pageant. Also, the winner or one of the runners-up of Miss Russia 2015 will compete at Miss World 2015.
