Anna Linnikova was crowned Miss Russia 2022 at the finale of the national pageant held on 25th July 2022, besting 24 other delegates for the crown. Alina Sanko of Azov crowned her successor at the end of the event finale.

Anna is 22 years of age who represented Orenburg at the national competition. Last year, she entered Saint Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics in St. Petersburg to pursue a bachelor’s degree in public relations. Anna has travelled quite a lot to pursue her modelling career which has given her exposure and experience to compete at an international pageant.

1st Runner-up – Anna Budayeva representing Chuvashia

2nd Runner-up – Daria Nemayeva representing Khabarovsk Krai

Top 10 also included Anastasia Sofina representing Chelyabinsk, Lyaysan Tagirova representing Kazan, Kristina Sakharova representing Moscow, Anna Rybalko representing Rostov-on-Don, Valeria Valuyko representing Saint Petersburg, Anna Semyonovykh representing Tatarstan, Violetta Sarayeva representing Yekaterinburg.

The winner is expected to represent Russia at Miss World and Miss Universe. If the pageants overlap, one of the runners-up might be sent to the pageant the winner can’t go to. However, it is still unknown whether Russia will participate in the pageants as the recently concluded Miss Supranational banned Russia from participating.
