Miss Sierra Leone is a national Beauty pageant that was founded in 2016 by Natasha Beckley. It has been under The International Ambassadors of Sierra Leone (I.AM.SL) pageant agency since the beginning. The main purpose of the organization of Miss Universe Sierra Leone is to promote local tourism in Sierra Leone and to expose young Sierra Leonean women to different cultures and nationalities.

The finale is scheduled to take place on 29 April 2018 when the reigning queens Miss Universe Sierra Leone 2017 Adama Lakoh Kargbo, Miss International Sierra Leone 2017 Abie Mansaray, Miss Earth Sierra Leone 2017 Esther Williams and Miss Tourism Queen Sierra Leone 2017 Nyallay Sia Kamara will crown their successors and pass on their reigns.
