Miss Supranational New Zealand organization, through their official social media, announced the stepping down of Emma Gribble as Miss Supranational New Zealand 2023 due to personal reasons. Meghan Kenney has been appointed as the New Zealand’s representative to Miss Supranational 2024.
The official announcement was as follows, “Due to Emma stepping down for personal reasons and after discussions with both the Miss NZ & Miss Supranational teams we are so excited to announce Meghan Kenney has been selected as the new Miss Supranational New Zealand.”
A pageant coach herself, Meghan has prepared Miss New Zealand contestants for their international pageants for the past five years. A experienced beauty queen, Meghan has previously represented her country at both Miss Grand International and Miss Intercontinental. A travel enthusiast, she has travelled to over 60 countries so far.
“While in NZ, she is a proud mentor who has fully immersed herself in charitable endeavours since stepping away from mechanical engineering to take on the full-time role of empowering and coaching young women here in New Zealand”, the organization wrote as they introduced their new representative.
Miss Supranational 2024, the 15th edition of Miss Supranational, will be held in Nowy Sacz, Lesser Poland, Poland on 6th July 2024 where Miss Supranational 2023 Andrea Aguilera of Ecuador will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
