South Africa is all set to make its debut at Miss Supranational in the 2021 edition as Miss South Africa organization has left no stone unturned to make it a stellar debut. Thato Thelma Mosehle has been shouldered with the responsibility to represent South Africa and might as well win the crown in the first go.

Thato Thelma Mosehle rose to fame as she became one of the two doctors (along with Karishma Ramdev) to compete at Miss South Africa 2020. As she performed with excellence, Thato ended up winning the first runner-up position at the national finals. Ever since then, the stunner has made it to almost every hot picks list for the Miss Supranational crown.

Turning 26 just a day ago, Thato has been preparing for her international stint taking help and coaching from professionals to pursue her dream of winning the first crown for her country. Thato is a model and a medical doctor from Klerksdorp, North West, South Africa.

An aspiring anesthesiologist, currently, Mosehle is completing her internship at the Klerksdorp-Tshepong Hospital complex in Klerksdorp. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) degree in 2018 from the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, South Africa.

Mosehle is a big fan of Miss South Africa 2012 Marilyn Ramos, who is a native of Klerksdorp and wishes to follow in her footsteps. Thato has been given the incredible opportunity to write the history for South African women who will succeed her at Miss Supranational.

“South Africa will be a part of this pageant for the first time ever under the Miss South Africa umbrella. I feel like I’m being given the privilege of holding the pen that will write the history for South African women in the competition”, she said.

An authentic, dynamic and compassionate woman, Thato enjoys knitting scarves, trying new recipes, watching makeup tutorials and perfecting her skills in her free time. Initially, Thato wanted to be a Protea netball player but after a terrible knee injury, she started her journey in pageantry and its safe to say she chose the right path.

In our opinion, Thato can definitely win the first ever crown for her country at Miss Supranational 2021 with her intelligence, diligence and grace.
