Vaea Ferrand crowned as Miss Tahiti 2016 for Miss France 2017

Vaea Ferrand has been crowned as Miss Tahiti 2016 on June 24’ 2016. Vaea will now represent Tahiti at the Miss France 2017 pageant to be held in December. Standing tall at an astounding height of 175cm and is a student of chemistry.

Miss Tahiti is a regional pageant held to select representatives for the Miss France pageant, and also opens up the opportunity for the winners to participate at other international pageants as well. Miss Tahiti has been in existence since 1960, even before it joined the Miss France pageant in 1986. The winners of Miss Tahiti traditionally competed at the Miss World pageant, until 2002. The first Miss Tahiti was Teura Bauwens who competed at the Miss World 1960 pageant.

At the same event, Vaiata Buisson was titled first runner-up, Vanilla Guyot-Sionnest was adjudged second runner-up, Mehealani Tepou was crowned Miss Heiva. Vaiata Buisson was adjudged with the Audience Award.

22 years old Vaea also won the Best in National Costume Award during the gala finale. Vaea is blessed with a beautiful face and a perfect hourglass figure to die for. Donning a beautiful smile and big bright eyes, she is already a favourite for the crown. Do you think Vaea has what it takes to be the next Miss France?
