Andresca Vásquez is all set to represent her country at the upcoming edition of Miss Tourism World that will take place in the coming month of June in Turkey. On November 16, 2019, the international contest of "Miss Venezuela en el Mundo" was held in the city of Buenos Aires where she was crowned as Miss Tourism World Venezuela 2019/2020.

The Miss Venezuela en el Mundo organization took to their social media to announce that, “Our Miss Tourism World Venezuela Andresca Vásquez is preparing for the international Miss Tourism contest, which will take place in the coming months in Istanbul, Turkey. Our team is fine-tuning details for this commitment that promises great successes for our organization.”

Native of Macuto, Vargas state, Andresca is a 20-year-old young worker currently residing in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She feels proud to carry Venezuela to the world on her chest. Applauding and advocating women around the world she said, “We celebrate empowerment, strength, mettle, work and above all we celebrate how great we are ... I toast to you, to me, to us and to those who were before ..., I applaud all the women of the world for to be life generators first, we are light and we always will be, let us continue to illuminate the world.”

After being announced as the official representative for Venezuela at Miss Tourism World 2021, Andresca said, “I am very excited, for months I have been working constantly on this project, being Venezuela in the world is a privilege… soon I will go to Turkey to raise my tricolor: I am Venezuela!”

She also added that she is grateful for the opportunity to represent Venezuela to the world, in these difficult times.

The Miss Tourism Organisation has announced that the 30th edition of Miss Tourism World i.e. Miss Tourism World 2021, which was supposed to be held from 7th to 23rd May 2021 in Antalya,Turkey, has been postponed to June 2021 for the time being.

The organisation has, for now, decided to wait for a month for the competition. If the situation creates suitable and appropriate conditions, the competition will be held in June, 2021. If June is not suitable, it will be included in the month of October. Meanwhile, current Miss Tourism World Juliana Giselle Nikol of Australia, continues to be the Tourism Ambassador as Miss Tourism World.
