Pink Tank Events, the official license holder of Miss Universe Australia, has announced the acquisition of the Miss Universe New Zealand and Miss Universe Singapore. PTE, under the directorship of Troy Barbagallo and Sophia Barbagallo, announced the news along with license renewal for Miss Universe Australia.

The official statement read, "The Pink Tank Events team is thrilled to offer young women in these regions the same opportunities our Australian finalists have enjoyed over nearly a decade via our prestigious platform.”

“We are also excited to be able to connect our Australian, Singaporean, and New Zealand finalists during the prelim programs, to grow international connections and opportunities for all our finalists on a global level”, the statement continued.

The license for Miss Universe Singapore was previously owned by Valerie Lim, a former titleholder. Under her leadership, Singapore achieved its first placement in 34 years with Nandita Banna Miss Universe Singapore 2021 who placed in the Top 16 at 70th Miss Universe.

The new directorship for New Zealand also marks the country's return to Miss Universe after 4 years. The last delegate from New Zealand to participate in the international pageant was during Miss Universe 2019 with Diamond Langi. The next Miss Universe Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore are expected to represent their respective countries at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador.
