Teresa Santos crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2021

The Miss Universe Brazil organization hosted the 66th edition of the national pageant and the first under the new Miss Universe Brazil management on 7th November 2021, where stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the coveted crown. At the end of the event, the organization announced the Top 3 finalists and later went on to announce Teresa Santos as the newly crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2021 on 9th November 2021.

The competition was set to be the inaugural edition of the new Miss Universe Brazil competition, under new leadership. The final was filmed on 7th November, aboard the cruise ship the MSC Preziosa. As the final was set to air two days after filming, the crowning moments of all of the three finalists were filmed, while only the winner's was included in the telecast aired on 9th November 2021.

First runner-up – Gabriela Lacerda

Second runner-up – Carol Valença

Teresa Stela Barbosa Silva Santos is a 23 years old Brazilian model and beauty pageant titleholder. As Miss Brazil, she will now represent Brazil at Miss Universe 2021. Santos had previously been crowned Miss Ceará 2021 and Miss Ceará 2018, and placed as the second runner-up at Miss Brazil 2018. She is the fourth woman from Ceará to win Miss Brazil.

 

 

Having been the part of Miss Brazil 2018, Teresa brought a new proposal in 2021. She looks beautiful, with a stunning body and a firm runway, she can easily win the competition. Teresa is a fitness enthusiast and a psychology student. She has evolved a lot since her last appearance at the national pageant.

Earlier this year, Miss Universe Brazil 2020 Julia Gama represented Brazil at Miss Universe 2020 finishing as the First Runner-Up and making the country proud. This year, Teresa will represent Brazil at Miss Universe 2021, scheduled to be held on 12th December in Eilat, Israel.
