BOK Star Models, the Bulgarian organisation responsible for sending Bulgaria’s representatives to the international pageants, has officially announced the winner of Miss Universe Bulgaria 2021. Elena Danova is the new Miss Universe Bulgaria 2021 and succeeds Miss Universe Bulgaria 2020 Radinela Chusheva for the title. Elena was selected after an online casting amongst 48 applicants from all over the country.
This Bulgarian beauty queen is 21 years old and hails from Krichim, a town located in the southwestern part of Plovdiv province at the foot of the Rhodopes northern slopes in Bulgaria. She is a professional model and loves to channel her energy through acting and singing. Elena is proficient in speaking English and Bulgarian. She is a public relations student at Sofia University.
She is grateful for the opportunity to represent Bulgaria at Miss Universe 2021 competition. Elena is not new to the world of pageantry, previously she was crowned as Queen of the Rose 2021 of Karlovo and has experience in the field of beauty pageants and modelling.
Miss Universe Bulgaria 2020 Radinela Chusheva represented Bulgaria at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant, earlier this year, where she was highly appreciated for her performance but remained unplaced at the end of the event. Bulgaria is yet to pioneer any win at the international format and trusts in Elena to bring home a win. She will now head on to represent Bulgaria at Miss Universe 2021 to be held in December 2021 in Eilat, Israel where Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event.
