The 4th edition of Miss Universe Cambodia, i.e. Miss Universe Cambodia 2020, will begin soon as the search for the national delegates has begun. The winner will succeed Miss Universe Cambodia 2019 Somnang Alyna and will represent her country in the coveted Miss Universe 2020.
While the delegates are yet to be revealed for this year’s edition, wish lists are being prepared for the potential divas who could leave a great mark in the pageant and even go on to win the crown. Po Kimtheng Sothida is one of the beauties who has definitely made it to our wishlist with her stunning performances in the previous years and her alluring beauty.
Not new to the pageantry, Sothida participated in Miss Universe Cambodia 2019 as the finale was held in March last year. She performed with absolute confidence and grace at the national competition and ended up winning the third runner-up position. While she failed to win the crown, Sothida then went on to represent her country in Miss Asia Pacific International 2019 but unfortunately failed to win a place in the Top 25. The stunning beauty did not give up and went to represent Cambodia again at Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2019 and with her stunning performance, won a place in the Top 10. She was also awarded the Miss Congeniality award at the contest.
She is no newcomer in the pageantry; Sothida already held the title of Asia model festival 2018 (Face of Cambodia), Miss Tourism World Cambodia 2017 and was adjudged the third runner-up in Miss City Tourism World before her journey in Miss Universe Cambodia began last year. With her solid experience in pageantry and being a model and actress, Sothida is definitely a strong competitor in our eyes.
Sothida has glistening eyes which adds a layer of elegance and glamour to her appearance. Her thick, dark healthy hair is the crowning glory of her beauty. From a cocktail dress to an evening gown, she pulls off any look with style. The way she presents herself in front of the camera makes her look charismatic. All these qualities make her our strong favourite for Miss Universe Cambodia 2020 crown.
