Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2018 will be hosting its event finale on 11th August 2018 where 7 contestants will compete against each other for the national title. The reigning Miss Cayman Islands 2017 Anika Conolly will crown her successor at the conclusion of the event. The winner of the title will get the prestigious opportunity to represent Cayman Islands at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant, where Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh-Nel-Peters will crown her successor.

Miss Cayman Islands Universe 2018 Contestant No 7 Caitlin Tyson

Contestant number 7, Caitlin Tyson, is a professionally trained Caymanian-American Actress, Model & Writer based in Grand Cayman & New York City competing for the title of Miss Cayman Islands Universe 2018. She has a degree in literary studies as well as in acting from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.  As a child, she was active in many local theatre productions, talent expositions and dance competitions.

She has had experience in the pageant world since her childhood. She won the local title of Our Little Miss and then went on ahead to win the title of World’s Best Smile when she competed regionally in Tennessee. She believes in giving back to the community. According to her, a Miss Cayman Islands should bring about betterment in the community.

Miss Cayman Islands Universe 2018 Contestant No 5 Josani Schneider

Josani Schneider is contestant number 5 vying for Miss Cayman Islands Universe 2018. She recently attained her degree in Finance from the University of South Florida and plans to obtain a professional designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst.

This 24-year-old has had previous experience in the pageant world as she had participated in the Caribbean Cultural Exchange Miss International Pageant where she won Miss Photogenic.

She believes that a Miss Cayman Island should be committed to the betterment of the citizens of the islands and its communities.

Miss Cayman Islands Universe 2018 Contestant No 4 Nateisha Foster

Nateisha Foster, from George Town, is contestant number 4 competing for the title of Miss Cayman Islands Universe 2018. She is an athlete and has completed her Associates Degree in Business Administration. She wants to complete her Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Nateisha is focusing on raising awareness of mental illness in the Cayman Islands by using her artistic capabilities. She believes that good mental health will contribute to her community in a positive manner. She actively promotes informational and facts about mental illnesses on her social media as an attempt to raise awareness.
