The 2022 edition of Miss Universe Croatia hosted the live coronation ceremony on 23rd May 2022 on Jutarnji.hr from Esplanade Zagreb Hotel as stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national crown and win the opportunity to represent Croatia at Miss Universe 2022. At the end of the event, Arijana Podgajski was crowned Miss Universe Croatia 2022.

Miss Universe Croatia 2022 Arijana Podgajski’s court includes –

First runner-up -  Klaudija Krezic from Sesvetski Kraljevec

Second runner-up - Veronika Ðerek from Kloštar Ivanic

Arijana is 19 years-old and hails from Krapina. She studies economics at the University of Zagreb and in her spare time likes to do yoga, spend time in the nature and read. She says she always tries to look for the positive in every situation. She is proud of herself for always trying to find something good and instructive in all bad situations.

With her mother, she often visits animal shelters to take abandoned animals out for a walk. As Miss Universe Croatia she wants to advocate for mental health, women’s rights, and abandoned animals. The diva stands at a height of 170cm and is also fluent in Croatian and English.

The diva succeeds Miss Universe Croatia 2021 Ora Ivaniševic, who represented her country at Miss Universe 2021 but failed to place in the Top 16. Arijana will now prepare for her international stint at Miss Universe 2022, the 71st edition of the pageant, scheduled to take place later this year, with the hope to bring Croatia back to the top. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Universe.
