Amanda Petri crowned Miss Universe Denmark 2020

The organization of Miss Denmark crowned Amanda Petri from Copenhagen as the new Miss Universe Denmark 2020 recently as she will represent Denmark at Miss Universe 2020 scheduled to take place on 16th May 2021 in Hollywood, Florida, United States. Amanda succeeds Miss Universe 2019 Katja Stokholm Funen for the title. According to sources, Amanda was crowned a few months ago but the organization decided to reveal the news recently.

Amanda is 23-years-old and stands 175 cm tall. She has studied communications as she believed that communication is essentially important to make the world connected and strongly recommends everyone to communicate respectfully. She is excited to take over the crown duties and start preparing for the competition where she is assured that she will perform her best to make the people of Denmark proud.

 

 

Amanda is not new to the world of pageants as she was Miss Denmark 2017 after which she represented Denmark at Miss World 2017 in China. Amanda was placed in Top 20 in Miss Talent Challenge and Top 24 in Miss Sports Challenge during Miss World 2017. She also represented the country at Miss World Cup 2018 in Germany, where she was adjudged as the second runner up.

In her introduction, the organization mentioned that for the past five years Amanda has been keenly involved with Miss Denmark Organization led by National Director- Lisa Lents, where she has had a role as a mentor, casting assistant, PR assistant, and a member of the judging panel during the Miss Universe Denmark 2019. She has attended numerous red-carpet events, award shows, tv appearances and more during her time as an ambassador for the Miss Denmark Organization.

 

 

The diva is beautiful, strong, determined, and focused towards being her best self and perform her best on-stage to make the organization and the people who support her proud and happy. Amanda loves to dance and spends her free time dancing and working in order to maintain herself for the future endeavours. She has explained that dancing has helped her through tough times in life like when she was 15-years-old and her father passed away due to cancer but most importantly it has helped her to understand her own capabilities and appreciate them. She calls herself a fighter who is ready for any challenge in her life.

Amanda is experienced, dedicated, and has already started to prepare for the competition and could be one of the strongest contenders for the title. She consumes the plant-based lifestyle in order to be healthy and fit and is very grateful for the opportunities she has received till now and is looking forward to the ones in her future.
