Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2019 held its grand coronation night on 18th August 2019 where twenty four contestants competed for the national crown and at the end of the event finale, Clauvid Daly was crowned the new queen. She succeeds Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2018 Aldy Bernard. The newly crowned queen will now represent Dominican Republic in Miss Universe 2019.

Clauvid Daly represented Punta Cana in the national contest and surprised everyone with her amazing performance. The curly haired beauty has joined the gorgeous curly haired beauties batch along with USA, Ireland and Haiti – all strong contestants for the coveted Miss Universe crown this time.

Unfortunately, Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2018 Aldy Bernard was not present at the national contest to crown her successor. She represented her country in Miss Universe 2018 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top. Dominican Republic is yet to win its first Miss Universe pageant.

Congratulations the newly crowned queen!
