Andreina Martinez is all set to represent Dominican Republic at the 71st edition of Miss Universe, to be held later next year. Initially, Andreina was supposed to represent her country at the recently held edition of Miss Universe, but she got infected with Covid-19 and had to withdraw her participation.

On being crowned Miss Universe Dominican Republic this November, she expressed her gratitude in a post captioned, “The only word that expresses what I feel is gratitude. To my family for supporting me unconditionally, my organization for believing in me and people in my life I've met in this process and who have become family. God's timing is perfect, with determination and discipline I will work to represent my Dominican Republic with dignity.”
With a wish to highlight and spread the culture, values and traditions of Dominican Republic, Andreina is gearing up for her international stint with dedication and hard work. She aims to work to promote education amongst Dominican girls and instilling motivational values to move ahead in life.
