Miss Suomi 2020 aka Miss Finland 2020 will host its coronation night sometime in the fall (due to the covid-19 pandemic) as delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Finland at Miss World 2020, Miss Universe 2020 and Miss International 2020. Anni Harjunpää Miss Suomi 2019 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

While the ladies have not had the chance to begin with their journey at Miss Suomi 2020, there are a few who have caught everyone’s attention and one of them is Viivi Altonen who we think is an ideal choice to represent Finland in Miss Universe 2020. Viivi stands 175 cm tall and is currently a model with BIBA model management in Zurich.

A genuine, humble, outgoing and an optimistic person, Viivi loves to study in different cultures and countries. She also considers herself as a dive master as she had over 100 logged scuba dives. This fitness lover in her free time goes for running in the forest and to the gym. She believes in beauty, brain and health being coexistent in the world and wants the world to believe in that too.

Not new to the pageantry as well, Viivi began her career in 2014 where she was a part of Supermodel International 2014. With her incredible performance, Viivi placed as the third runner-up at the end of the event finale. She was later, in 2019, appointed Miss Supranational Finland 2019 and represented her country at Miss Supranational 2019. Even though she failed to win a spot in the Top 25 at the finale, Viivi still took home the Miss Supranational Photogenic 2020 award.

Viivi is also a fluent speaker of Finnish, English, Swedish and German which shows her vivid knowledge of various cultures and traditions. With her experience of representing Finland at two international pageants already, Viivi sure will be the apt contender for Miss Universe Finland 2020 crown if she maintains her hard work and determination in the competition.
