Miss Universe Guatemala organization held the presentation and coronation of the next queen yesterday night, i.e. 3rd June 2022 where Ivana Batchelor was crowned Miss Universe Guatemala 2022. Dania Guevara Morfín Miss Universe Guatemala 2021 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The coronation ceremony was held at the Miguel Carrillo Chamber Theater of the Miguel Ángel Asturias Cultural Center.
Ivana Batchelor hails from Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. The stunning beauty is fluent in Spanish and English and works as a translator for the two languages. Standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, Ivana is the co-founder of IB Model Agency, which manages and trains models. She is currently studying Communication Sciences.
Not new to the pageantry, Ivana was crowned Miss Grand Guatemala 2020 as she represented Guatemala at Miss Grand International 2020. At the end of the event finale, Ivana bested 62 other delegates as she was adjudged second runner-up.

The coronation event included the participation of the Folkloric Ballet of the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism. The National Choir of Guatemala and the Marimba de Conciertos de Bellas Artes were also present.
Last year, Dannia Guevara Morfin represented Guatemala at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant but remained unplaced at the end of the event. Now with Ivana’s coronation, Guatemala will definitely have a high chance to pioneer a win for the Miss Universe crown.
