Miss Universe Indonesia 2023, the first edition of Miss Universe Indonesia under Poppy Capella, is scheduled to be held on 3rd August 2023 at Beach City International Stadium, Jakarta. This is the first time the winner will be chosen separately from Puteri Indonesia organization, which lost the franchise earlier this year.
A total of 30 beauties representing various provinces of Indonesia have been selected from across the country to compete for national crown. The winner will represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2023 to be held in El Salvador.

Starting this edition, the organization also gave a go ahead to officially accept married women and women with children to compete in the pageant, with the age requirement being 18-28 years. They also launched their inaugural crown called The Shimmering Hope Crown made by well-known jewelery manufacturer in Indonesia UBS Gold.
