Aishah Akorede was crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2023 at the finale of the national competition held on 22nd September 2023 at the Liberty Hall Theatre in Dublin as she became the official representative of Ireland at Miss Universe 2023.

Aishah Akorede is 23 years of age and hails from County Kildare. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Griffith College in Dublin and her Master of Laws (LLM) from Queen's University Belfast. The stunning Irish beauty is currently working as a corporate compliance consultant.

A fashion model and Beauty and the Geek UK winner, Aishah bested nine other delegates to win the national crown. She is also the founder of Recrowned Ireland, a non-profit women's empowerment and social justice initiative.

2nd Runner-up – Sofia Labus

Aishah succeeds Miss Universe Ireland 2021 Katharine Walker who represented her country at Miss Universe 2021. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Universe.

Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, will be held in El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
