It’s almost like clockwork when a new girl is crowned Miss Universe for her home country. The preparations begin, and the girls take on the duty of representing their country at the Miss Universe pageant. But, the activities that happen throughout are never the same for every contestant. While, one might be taking English classes, to avoid an interpreter, another one is adamant on fulfilling her duties as the Miss Universe of a certain country, and a completely different girl might be raised to stardom and would be busy giving interviews and making appearances.
However, a few things remain the same. The first and most important is the work these girls do for their advocacies, and then comes the fun parts like photoshoots, and endorsements.
Many countries found their Miss Universe delegates in the 1st three months of 2018. These countries were, Belgium, Vietnam, Trinidad and Tobago, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Japan, Philippines, and Indonesia.
So what followed was, obviously, a series of photoshoots for the new faces of the countries. Each delegate had their official photoshoots done, and while all o them looked fabulous, only a few can go to the finale, and then just one will win the crown of Miss Universe 2018.

Binibining PIlipinas 2018 Catriona Elisa Gray
Crowned Miss World Philippines in 2016, and becoming the prodigy, with her win at Binibining Pilipinas 2018, Catriona is surely a force to be reckoned with.
The 24-year-old beauty stands at 180 centimetres and speaks Filipino and English. The delegate is a fashion and commercial model and also a great singer, the talents of which she showed at the Miss World Talent Round. The beauty was quoted saying, “Being able to connect with strangers through music was an amazing feeling.” She also loves blogging.
Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 Jane Teoh Jun
Jane Teoh Jun was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 at the grand coronation night held on 11th January 2018 at The Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Miss Universe
Jane was representing Penang in the competition. She is 20 years of age and stands tall at 178 cm. A student and a part-time model, Jane won a local modelling search last year where she had the opportunity to represent Malaysia in the international finale and received a top 10 placing. Despite not being confident of speaking in front of crowds, Jane found the courage to step out of her comfort zone and take on new challenges.
Miss Universe Japan 2018 Yuumi Kato

On March 19, 2018, in a quite low profile ceremony in Tokyo, at Hotel Chinzanso, Yuumi Kato was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2018.
20 years old, Yuumi Kato was brought up in Malaysia and stands 5 feet 6 inches tall. The newly crowned beauty queen is well versed in four languages, Malay, English, Chinese and Japanese. After being crowned Miss Universe Japan, Yuumi greeted her fans in all the four languages.
