It was recently announced by Miss Universe Nepal organization that that the coronation of the next representative of Nepal at Miss Universe i.e., at Miss Universe 2020 stage will be held virtually keeping the social distancing and the proper safety of the people involved in mind. Miss Nepal Universe 2017 Nagma Shrestha is the new national director of Miss Universe Nepal and had informed Ma Nepali that Miss Universe Nepal 2020 app is being developed and will be available in the app store and Google play store by mid-July.
The queen also mentioned that the delegates will be selected via application itself and the divas will have to register themselves from the same app. After the registration and selection, the diva will go through online training and workshops for the pageant while the finale even will also be live-streamed.
With wish lists being prepared for the potential delegates for representing Nepal at Miss Universe 2020 stage, Megha Rouniyar has caught our attention as a potential candidate to represent Nepal at international stage. Megha is passionate about representing her country at international stage as well as make her marking on an international level as someone who is inspiring and a positive role model. She is studying Computer Systems and working as a professional model.
Megha is not new to beauty pageant world as she was a part of Miss Nepal US 2019 and was adjudged as the second runner-up at the end of the event finale along with winning the title of Miss Talent. Megha describes herself as one of the people who takes immense pride in representing their country and is compassionate towards the cultural values.
She wants to use her voice to promote Nepal’s heritage and work towards creating equal education opportunities for underprivileged children and women in Nepal. If she decides to participate the Miss Universe Nepal will give her a platform that will help her voice her opinions and bring some positive change in the community. She has worked with various designers and brands to gain some experience and knowledge about beauty pageants that will help her during the competition. Megha is fond of fashion and makeup and when she met a famous makeup artist; Mario Dedivanovic; she couldn’t express her happiness. She usually tries to experiment with her looks which would help her during the pageant if she decides to participate.
Megha feels extremely blessed that she has been able to receive opportunities where she was able to express herself freely and showcase her talent as well as her culture of Nepal. She feels that it’s because of her hard work and dedication she has been able to be where she is today. She also thanks her family and friends for being always there for her and motivating her supporting her for everything in life. Megha in one of her posts shared that she had trouble accepting herself but now she has started to embrace her scars as they remind her how powerful and strong, she is. She also talks about women empowerment in Nepal and uses her social media to talk about it.
Megha is dedicated, hardworking, confident, and experienced in the pageantry world. She prepares herself for the future assignments and makes sure she aces the on-stage walk, body posture and angles and communicate with people properly.
