Paraguay’s Vanessa Castro commences her journey in Miss Universe 2020 after testing negative for Covid-19

Vanessa Castro, representing Paraguay at Miss Universe 2020, tested positive for Covid-19 just a few days ago making her participation in the competition is unsure. She took to her social media to share the news with her fans and followers by stating, "I have a lot of faith in the Virgin that I will be able to recover and arrive at the competition. My results were positive for Covid-19. Thank God I am in very good health. To all those beautiful people who care about me, I still have a lot to prove, so we pray that everything goes well. "

Now, it looks like her prayers got answered as Vanessa tested negative for Covid-19 a few hours ago and began her journey to the 69th edition of Miss Universe as she boarded a flight to Florida to join the delegates for Miss Universe 2020. She announced the news on social media, thanking everyone who prayed for her quick recovery, her family and friends, and the organization for their trust and belief in her. Just like the other delegates, Vanessa will undergo another test on arriving at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Miami and wait for the results.

 

 

Vanessa is strong and confident about her health and is assured that she is prepared to give her best shot at Miss Universe 2020 and make the people of Paraguay proud. She is a graduate from Universidad Nacional De Asuncion where she dedicated herself to rehabilitation work for children with different disabilities during her time as a student.

In the future, she hopes to influence more women to take on careers in male-dominated fields and demand the recognition they deserve. She advocates for the empowerment of young girls and encourages them to take up space where men typically dominate.

 

 

The 2020 batch has begun to arrive at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Hotel in Miami and are being tested before being quarantined in their respective rooms. There are a few delegates who are yet to arrive, after which the 69th edition of Miss Universe will officially begin with photoshoots and rehearsals.

The 69th edition of Miss Universe i.e., Miss Universe 2020 will be held on 16th May 2021 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, the United States where stunning ladies from all over the world will compete for the coveted crown. Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi from South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
