The Miss Universe Philippines organization is all set to host the coronation for Miss Universe Philippines 2021 where delegates from all over the country will participate and compete for the national crown and win a chance to represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2021. The winner will succeed Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo, who represented the country at Miss Universe 2020 in the United States and finished in the Top 21 at the end of the event finale.
Silvana Rauch is one of the divas who is expected to compete in Miss Universe Philippines 2021 and is emerging as a potential candidate for the crown. She is a 23-year-old professional model of Filipino-Austrian descent. She has studied Bachelors's in Tourism Management from the Angeles University Foundation. She is passionate about beauty pageants and would be a strong contender for the title if she decides to participate.
The diva is not new to the world of beauty pageants. She was Miss Subaraw 2019, Mutya ng Pilipinas Central Luzon 2018, and Mutya ning Angeles 2016 Tourism, which has helped her to gain experience, confidence, and determination to represent the Philippines in international competition, which is why the pageant community believes that she could be a strong contestant. In an interview, Silvana mentioned that winning Miss Subarw 2019 was very fulfilling for her as she felt that the pageant was her calling.
Silvana stated, "It takes a village to make a queen. A lot of training, not just physically but mentally and emotionally too. " She mentioned that growing up around boys made her question herself as she never thought she would end up in a beauty pageant and would love every bit of it. After her participation in Mutya ning Angeles 2016 Tourism, the diva realized her potential and believed in herself and that is how she decided to give beauty pageants a real shot. Representing the Philippines at Miss Universe is something that Silvana has worked hard for and aspires to make happen.

The organization recently announced that 24th June 2021 is the last date for the applications for Miss Universe Philippines 2021. The revised age requirement clause now reads, "(An applicant) must be 18 years of age and not over 28 years of age at the time of the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 pageant." The other requirements for the application read:
Must be a Filipino citizen and a Philippine passport holder.
At least, high school graduate.
No height requirement.
Female, never been married nor has borne children.
The last requirement comes after Miss South Africa and Miss Universe Vietnam organizations have stated open invitations for trans women for the competition. Miss Universe Philippines national director Shamcey Supsup-Lee, during an earlier interview, said that they will accept transgender applicants if they can provide legal proof of being female and have already gone through reassignment surgery.
