The Miss Universe Philippines organization is all set to host the coronation for Miss Universe Philippines 2021 where delegates from all over the country will participate and compete for the national crown and win a chance to represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2021. The winner will succeed Miss Universe Philippines 2020, Rabiya Mateo, who represented the country at Miss Universe 2020 in the United States and finished in the top 21 at the end of the event's finale.

While the provinces from all over the country have begun preparing their representatives for the national title, Charissa Claire Hilario has been recently appointed as Miss Universe Philippines – Aurora 2021 and was sashed by Kevin Sanchez, the accredited partner for Miss Universe Philippines.

The reigning Binibining Aurora first runner-up has now officially become one of the Phenomenal Women competing for the crown of Miss Universe Philippines 2021. Charissa also shared her appointment as she rejoiced, “I am Charissa Claire Gonzales, and I am your Miss Universe Philippines-Aurora 2021.”

Hailing from Maria Aurora, Gonzales is a student of political science in the University of Cordilleras. She has a stunning and strong personality with prior experience in pageantry towards the path to the national crown. Charissa is set to embark her journey and begin the preparations towards winning the opportunity to represent Philippines at the international platform.

Charissa succeeds Princess Marquez Laureano as Aurora’s representative at the national pageant. Last year, the representative of Aurora did not push through with her Miss Universe Philippines journey, and now, Aurora is back to claim their unfinished business.

She is dedicated, focused and excited to compete at the national competition. We wish the queen all the very best for her journey at Miss Universe Philippines 2020.
