The finale of Miss Universe Slovakia 2022 was held on 11th September 2022 at the Ministry of Fun in Banská Bystrica where Karolína Michalcíková was crowned the new queen. Karolina bested eleven other delegates to win the national crown.

Karolína Michalcíková is 23 years of age and hails from Trencín. She is a makeup artist and has studied human resources and personnel management at Trencianska univerzita Alexandra Dubceka v Trencíne in Trencín.

Karolína will now prepare to represent the Slovak Republic at the 71st Miss Universe. She was supposed to compete Miss Universe Slovakia 2021, but the coronation night was cancelled.

Also at the finale, Klaudia Korlová from Košice, and Mária Glatzová from Prešov were adjudged as the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Karolína Michalcíková succeeds Miss Universe Slovakia 2021 Veronika Šcepánková who was appointed to represent her country at the 70th Miss Universe in Israel.

Slovakia has yet to win the Miss Universe pageant. The country's highest placement was in 1994 with its first-ever representative Silvia Lakatošová who finished in the Top 6.
