Shubila Stanton crowned Miss Universe Tanzania 2019

At the coronation night of Miss Universe Tanzania 2019 held on 12th October 2019 at the Serena Hotel, Shubila Stanton (Shubby Stanton) was crowned the new queen as she was crowned the official representative of Tanzania in Miss Universe 2019. Shubila succeeds Miss Universe Tanzania 2017 Lilian Maraule.

Shubila Stanton impressed everyone with her sincerity and dedication at the national stage. The 6-foot stunner is also the current Miss Morogoro 2019/20. She was representing Dar es Salaam at the contest. Shubila is 23 years old and hails from Morogoro.

The contestants who competed for Miss Universe Tanzania 2019 are Mary Mponya (Age: 25 Years), Laura James (Age: 20 Years), Precious Lyimo (Age: 23 Years), Rachel Robert (Age: 21 Years), Glory Gideon (Age: 24 Years), EleveranteReubben (Age: 22 Years), Lilian Mlolere (Age: 23 Years), SarafinaWasley (Age: 25 Years), Shubila Stanton (Age: 23 Years) and Prisca Richard (Age: 23 Years).

Last year, Tanzania did not participate in Miss Universe. Before that, Lilian Maraule Miss Universe Tanzania 2017 represented Tanzania in Miss Universe 2017 but did not fail to place in the Top. The country is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Universe beauty pageant.
