Anntonia Porsild became a history maker in Thailand as being the first Miss Supranational from Thailand and the first beauty queen to compete in Miss Universe after winning Miss Supranational. The stunning beauty has now been crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2023 at the finale held on 20th August 2023 at the MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand.
Anntonia Porsild is of Danish-Thai heritage, being born in India to her Danish father Morten Porsild and her Thai mother Tanradee ‘Nee’ Porsild. Growing up Anntonia lived in several countries including Thailand, India, Vietnam, Denmark and Spain.
Anntonia, as good as she is in her communication skills, is fluent in English and Thai. In 2017, she studied public relations and communications at EU Business School in Barcelona. In 2022, she graduated from Stamford International University in Bangkok with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations.
Porsild is not new to the pageantry and model world as well; she competed at The Face of Thailand Season 1 and finished at the 10th spot. In 2019, Porsild was crowned Miss Supranational Thailand 2019 at The Bazaar Theater in Bangkok, Thailand. The stunner, then, went on to represent Thailand at Miss Supranational 2019 where she competed against 76 other candidates at the Miedzynarodowe Centrum Kongresowe w Katowicach in Katowice, Poland and won the title.
On winning the national crown, Anntonia took to her official social media as she wrote, “Still can’t believe this happened. Absolutely surreal. Thank you to everyone that made this day happen for me. Thank you for believing in me and my potential to grow into who I am today. Thank you to my team and my family for sticking with me throughout this journey.”

Anntonia, if she wins Miss Universe 2023, will end up making history yet again by becoming the first woman to win two Big 6 International beauty pageants. Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, is scheduled to be held in San Salvador, El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
