Keno Manzur acquires the Miss Universe license under Miss Universo Argentina

Miss Universe organization, on 28th February 2023, informed the national directors about the decision regarding their respective licenses. As a result, Keno Manzur, who has been holding the Chile license since 2019, acquired the Miss Universe Argentina license.

Miss Universo Argentina, through their official social media, wrote, “Welcome to the official account of the new Miss Universe Argentina Organization! We are happy to be able to start this new cycle with you, to find the woman who will represent all of us in Miss Universe 2023 to be held at the end of the year in El Salvador.”

 



Argentina has been participating at Miss Universe since it’s 3rd edition in 1954, barring competing in 1965, 1995, 2004 & 2005. Since the start of their Miss Universe journey, the country has had 13 different license holders between 1954 and today, last ones being Osmel Sousa (2019 - 2021) and Nadia Cerri (2022).

Keno Manzur hopes to be in charge of the new era in Argentina in a long term perspective with focus on winning the second Miss Universe crown for Argentina. In the last edition of Miss Universe which was held on 14th January 2023 where Bárbara Cabrera represented her country but remained unplaced.
