Coronation of Miss World 2013 was a colossal day for the gorgeous beauty Megan Young, as she became the first ever Filipina to bring home the prestigious crown that day and through this victory, she initiated her voyage to the kingdom of success. The pretty birthday girl being pretty excited about her desires on this big day, shouts out on her official Instagram where uploaded a picture of hers mentioning a caption in which she wrote, “Hello to another year in my life. I've been able to do so much before turning 30 but there's still so much I want to do. Well, there's a whole life time for that anyway. Taking it easy today by just being around people that I love and playing games to my heart's content!”

The 29-year-old was born in Alexandria, Virginia and her family moved to Castillejos, Zambales, Philippines when she was ten. The beauty pursued her secondary education from Regional Science High School III and after she moved to Manila, she initiated her career in acting.

Megan embarked studying filmmaking at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in the year 2011. The beauty is not a fresher in pageant as before experiencing the journey of Miss World, she joined Miss World Philippines 2013, where she marked her victory and landed onto the international platform.

Talking about her acting career, she made her debut in the second season of the talent reality search, StarStruck where she was placed in Top 6. The first acting job offer that she received was to play the role of Meg in Love to Love Presents: Love Ko Urok.
