The former beauty queens - Miss World 2013 Megan Young and Miss World Guyana 2015 Lisa Punch - hosted the 2016 Variety International Humanitarian Award, honouring Miss World CEO Julia Morley's achievements in making the world a better place.
The coveted ceremony took place on April 30’ 2016 at the Horticultural Hall in Jersey, UK.
Former Miss World Megan Young came to Jersey to host the eminent show, and also to share her part of the story. Moving ahead with the event, Megan expressed her gratitude and said - “Julia has been a true inspiration for me over the past few years, I’m so happy for her to be winning this historic award. It is an honour for me to be able to show my appreciation tomorrow.”

On the other hand, Miss World Guyana 2015 Lisa Punch payed homage to the lady behind the Miss World Organisation by performing on stage during the awards, alongside several other performers, including Miss England Natasha Hemmings.
Lisa Punch already wowed audiences in Sanya where she was the acknowledged songster of the talent show. The Guyanese lady also got the Talent Award at the Miss World 2015 which saw Mireia Lalaguna as the winner.

Apart from Megan, Lisa and Natasha, many former and present Miss World contestants and winners arrived in Jersey to show their support for Chairwoman of the Miss World Organisation Julia Morley.
Miss India World 2016, Priyadarshini Chatterjee and Mr India World 2015, Rohit Khandelwal were also present at the venue to show their support to Miss Morley.
