Miss World 2014 Rolene Strauss was a special guest at the esteemed opening dinner of the World Travel Market (WTM). She attended ‘An evening with Anthony Bourdain’, hosted by CNN presenter Richard Quest.
Now in its thirty-sixth year, the WTM is a leading global event for the travel industry, and Rolene was present as a Special Guest at the opening dinner, which featured the American chef, author and television personality Anthony Bourdain.

On the eve of one of the biggest travel industry events, the evening naturally dealt with tourism, travel, and Anthony’s personal expertise in food; mixing them all together to the enjoyment of the audience.
“I had a very enjoyable evening,” said Rolene on Sunday’s event. “Anthony was really interesting, and It was great to hear about the world from his perspective. It makes me realise that the world, and South Africa, have so much to offer!”
The dinner, which was the curtain raiser for the five day expo, was hosted by English journalist and CNN presenter Richard Quest.
