Head to Head challenge of Group 2 took place at the beautiful Chimelong Ocean Kingdom and the queens undoubtedly performed exceptionally in it. The beauties had a chance to see how things are done through Group 1’s challenge and they seemed calmer and ready to go for the challenge.
In this episode also, the format of the challenge remains the same with each contestant’s opening presentation/ introductory video and a follow-up question, after which the host Frankie Cena catches-up with anchor Barney Walsh to learn more about the happenings of Miss World 2017 competition and finally the Group 2 contestants are asked the most important final question.
In this episode Barney Walsh, the anchor took us to the grand opening ceremony of Miss World 2017 which took place at the historical sight of Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) in Anhui Province, Eastern China. The opening ceremony marked the official welcome of all the 120 queens in Miss World 2017. Yellow Mountain is open to only world leaders and similar VIPs, so it was a great privilege for the girls to be invited there. It started with the speech by the mayor, after which Miss World’s CEO Julia Morley opened this year’s competition. Contestants from United States, China PR, Australia, Dominican Republic, India, France, Kenya, and Mexico spoke on behalf of all the contestants.
Later the final question round happened where the common question asked was “How can we improve the Ocean environment and what can we do to get more countries involved?”

First to answer was Avril Marco Miss World Argentina 2017, who said –
“I think that firstly I would organize campaigns to make people conscious about the importance of the ocean, especially during the vacations of children and teenagers who will be in charge of it in the near future. Secondly, I think the government should use the law to put restrictions on industries that destroy the ocean, in order to make them environmentally friendly. And finally, to get all countries get involved, I will create a system in which all the countries that adopt this responsible conduct will get a benefit, for example having certain excess to the ocean where they can get economic.”
Second to answer was Yasmin Pinto Solar Miss World Bolivia 2017, who said –
“I think that the solution to make people aware starts at home. To teach young children good values, to take care of the planet. People need to be more sensible, like disposing-off waste properly, saving water, recycling etc. We should all love our planet and enjoy what God has given us.”
Third was Joana Grabolli Miss World Albania 2017 who answered –
“In Albania, we say I love you like the ocean to express how big our love is, and love for the ocean has to be as big as the ocean is. We have to protect the creatures that live in the environment. We have to protect them from plastic material. The best way to do this is to avoid the use of plastic bags, plastic bottles or any other plastic product. We have to use the re-usable version of the products that we need. All the states should sensitise to protect the ocean because we are like a family and planet is our common home.”

Bessika Bucktawor Miss World Mauritius 2017 said –
“First we should stop pollution like water pollution but most importantly we should reduce the use of plastic products because it is the main cause of marine life destruction and moreover the sea food choice that we make while we are eating makes a huge difference and I think we should encourage more countries to join us. We can educate ourselves and others about the importance of marine life and ocean because the more you know about it, the more you’ll be willing to help.”
Maguy Gbane Mandjalia Miss World Côte d'Ivoire 2017 answered –
“To improve the ocean situation, I want to start awareness campaigns so that people become more eco-responsible by stopping waste disposal in the ocean and only using recyclable packaging. I will do this across many countries so that everyone knows the negative impact that water pollution has on our health.”
Lastly, Rotem Rabi Miss World Israel 2017 answered –
“I think the education is the key to everything. We should teach our children how to protect our planet and we should take them to the sea where they can look at the other lives we have in our world.”
