Miss World 2019, 69th edition of Miss World, will host its coronation night on 14th December 2019 at the ExCeL London in London, United Kingdom where more than hundred delegates will compete for the coveted international crown. Miss World 2018 Vanessa Ponce de Leon of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
Julia Morley and Vanessa Ponce the reigning Miss World, appeared on Good Morning Britain with Piers Morgan where Morley officially announced that the pageant will be held in December while the next edition of Miss World will be held in Thailand in order to celebrate Miss World’s 70th anniversary.

Winners of Fast Track Events
The Top Model winner is Nyekachi Douglas of Nigeria. She became the fourth quarter-finalist of Miss World 2019. Along with her, Luong Thùy Linh of Vietnam, Suman Rao of India, Ophély Mézino of France and Oliver Nakakande of Uganda were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.
Miss Talent winner is Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica who became the second quarter-finalist of Miss World 2019. Rikkiya Brathwaite of British Virgin Islands, Naomi Colford of Canada were adjudged the first and second runners-up respectively while Liana Voskerchyan of Armenia and Nicole Vella of Malta were placed in the Top 5.
Sports Challenge winner is Rikkiya Brathwaite of British Virgin Islands who became the first quarter-finalist of Miss World 2019. Nyekachi Douglas of Nigeria and Tya Janè Ramey of Trinidad and Tobago were adjudged the first and second runners-up respectively as the Green Team won the challenge.
Miss Multimedia winner is Anushka Shrestha of Nepal who became the third quarter finalist for Miss World 2019. She already advanced to Top 40 as she won the Head to Head Challenge prior to that. Nepal won the Multimedia award for the second consecutive time in a row.
Head to Head Challenge Groups and Winners
One hundred and twelve contestants of Miss World 2019 were grouped into 19 groups for Head to Head Challenge and a winner from each group was selected. The 20 group winners than presented their BWAP projects to a jury and the presentations were made by 10 pairs of contestants, and a from each pair a winner was selected who moved on to Top 30. Below interesting contests were witnessed in the head to head challenge finale.

Miss World Moldova 2019 Elizaveta Cuznetsova defeated Miss World Brazil 2019 Elís Miele Coelho to advance to Top 40 at the finale.
Nepal v/s Indonesia
Miss World Nepal 2019 Anushka Shrestha defeated Miss World Indonesia 2019 Princess Megonondo to win her place in the Top 40. The Nepali beauty definitely impressed everyone with her eloquence and intelligence.
China v/s Venezuela
Miss World China PR 2019 Li Peishan was defeated by Miss World Venezuela 2019 Isabella Rodríguez Guzmán to win her spot in the Top 40.
Nigeria v/s Belarus
Miss World Nigeria 2019 Nyekachi Douglas defeated Miss World Belarus 2019 Anastasia Laurynchuk as she performed confidently at the final round.
Mexico v/s Uganda
Miss World Mexico 2019 Ashley Alvídrez Estrada defeated Miss World Uganda 2019 Oliver Nakakande as she won her place in Top 40.

Miss World India 2019 Suman Rao defeated Miss World Bangladesh 2019 Rafah Nanjeba Torsa to win her place in the Top 40. The Indian beauty might make a sandwich win in Miss World with a win if she performs with same sincerity and dedication.

Miss World Trinidad & Tobago 2019 Tya Janè Ramey defeated Miss World Ireland 2019 Chelsea Farrell to make her place in the Top 40. The stunning beauty definitely portrayed grace and confidence at the final round.
