Miss World 2021, the 70th edition of Miss World, will be held on 16th March 2022 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In a recent announcement made by the Miss World organization, Top 40 delegates were selected to enter the final leg of the competition.

In a series of features, here are the forty delegates, in no particular order, (15 from the fast-track competitions and 25 through judges’ choice) who will fly to Puerto Rico for the coronation night. April Benayoum representing France has secured a spot in Top 40 by being one of the judges’ choice winners.

April Benayoum is 22 years of age and stands 176 cm tall. A multilingual, April speaks French, English, Italian and German fluently. The French beauty has completed a first Degree in International Trade and Marketing and is working as a model and content creator. She is also studying for a master’s degree in Business.

As for her hobbies, April enjoys playing volleyball and has an interest in Geography and in Greek Mythology. Her favorite film is ‘The Davinci Code.’ April Benayoum is quite active on social media as she manages an Instagram account with more than 250k followers on it.

Benayoum comes from a mixed origin; she has Israeli origins from her father and Serbo-Croatian from her mother. The French beauty was also subjected to racial abuse because of her Israeli heritage. Her capabilities and her strong personality make her a strong contender for Miss World 2021 crown.

If April wins Miss World 2021 crown, she will become the second Miss World winner from France. The first and the only winner from France was in 1953 when Denise Perrier was crowned Miss World 1953.
