Former Miss World Australia Madeline Cowe takes a U-Turn to Miss Universe Australia

The gorgeous diva Madeline Cowe won the coveted title of Miss World Australia 2016 and later represented the nation at the Miss World beauty pageant in the year 2016 where she secured her position in Top 20 finalists and earned the title of earned the Miss World Oceania in the finale. This time, the diva has set her goals higher as she recently unveiled, she will enter Miss Universe 2019 as a delegate.

Madeline took to her official Instagram account where she uploaded a post with a caption in which she wrote, “Smiling because I’ve just had such an incredible week! I’m super excited to let you guys know I’ve entered Miss Universe this year, as of Thursday night I am officially a national finalist. I can’t wait to see what this journey holds! I’m looking forward to meeting all the girls and creating what I’m sure will be some of the most unforgettable memories.”

Prior to winning Miss World Australia 2016, the diva competed in Miss Universe Australia 2015 and there she was adjudged the first runner-up in the finale. But after that, she switched tact and later became a part of Miss World Australia platform. The diva is 25 years of age who is brought-up in Tully, near Cairns and is now a Sydney-based model. She is a law graduate and works as a TV host in Australia.

Moreover, Madeline told that, Honestly, I didn’t think I would compete again. But, modelling for the last two years made me feel like there was still more that I can do in this industry.I’ve grown a lot and I’m a lot more confident, so I think it’s a good time to be doing it. It gives me such a good platform and so much reach and you can do so much good with it.”
